Yeatee Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Yeatee app and the online services used to operate it. Please read them before creating an account or using Yeatee.
1. Who we are
Yeatee is provided by Web AI Tips Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”). These terms govern your use of Yeatee and form an agreement between you and Web AI Tips Limited.
The licence for the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms explain the additional rules that apply to your Yeatee account and the services provided through Yeatee. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
2. Using Yeatee
Yeatee helps you organise recipes, meal plans and shopping lists. It also lets you share selected meal-plan information with confirmed friends. Creating an account provides access to Yeatee's core features, while paid subscriptions provide higher usage allowances. Some features also require an internet connection or device permission.
You may use Yeatee only if you can lawfully agree to these terms where you live. If the law requires a parent or guardian to agree on your behalf, they must review and accept these terms and supervise your use.
3. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Yeatee account or use Yeatee. If you are under 13, you may not use the service. Where the law in your country sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this without parental consent, that higher age applies.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in method secure and promptly telling us if you believe your account has been compromised. Do not share access to an account in a way that puts another person's information at risk.
You may permanently delete your account in Yeatee. The in-app process is protected by the Danger Zone and two separate confirmations. Once you give the final confirmation, your account is locked, you are signed out and the deletion request cannot be cancelled. Neither Yeatee nor its support team can restore the account or its deleted content. Further information is provided in our Privacy Policy. Deleting the app does not delete your account or cancel an App Store subscription.
After you request account deletion, the same email address, Apple account or Google account cannot be used to create another Yeatee account for 72 hours. We may temporarily prevent registration for longer where the same identity repeatedly creates and deletes accounts and a longer restriction is reasonably necessary to prevent misuse. Any limited security record retained for this purpose is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, photographs, notes and other content that you submit to Yeatee. You give us limited permission to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to provide and secure the features you choose to use. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to the retention periods and legal requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
You must have the right to submit the content you add. Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes another person's privacy, copyright or other rights.
5. Friends and sharing
Yeatee is designed so that friend requests are initiated face to face and confirmed by the receiving person. You are responsible for checking the person you connect with and for choosing what you share. Per-friend sharing controls can be changed later, but information already seen or independently saved by another person cannot be recalled by the app.
Do not use friend or sharing features to harass, threaten, impersonate or mislead another person.
6. AI-assisted features
AI recipe scanning prepares suggestions from content you deliberately submit. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. You must review it before saving, sharing or relying on it.
Yeatee is not a medical, nutritional, allergy or food-safety service. AI suggestions are not professional advice and must not replace ingredient labels, allergy checks, safe cooking practices or advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
7. Subscriptions, purchases and usage allowances
Paid subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple. The price, billing period, free-trial terms (if any) and renewal information shown in the App Store purchase flow apply to your purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple ID settings in accordance with Apple's terms.
Apple manages payment, cancellation and refund requests for App Store purchases, subject to applicable law. Deleting Yeatee or deleting your Yeatee account does not cancel a subscription. See Subscription support for the route to Apple's subscription controls.
Cancellation and resubscription
You may cancel automatic renewal through Apple. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid subscription period shown by Apple, so your paid plan remains available until that date. Apple may end access earlier following a refund, payment reversal or another action permitted under its terms. When paid access ends, your Yeatee account moves to the Free plan. This does not by itself delete recipes or other content already saved to your account.
You may resubscribe while your Yeatee account remains active. Paid allowances become available again after Apple confirms the subscription and the purchase is reflected in Yeatee. Usage already counted in the current calendar month remains counted. Resubscribing does not roll back, replace or delete content saved to that account. It also does not restore a Yeatee account, Meal History or other content that has already been permanently deleted.
Yeatee applies usage allowances to keep the service practical and sustainable. The current standard allowances are:
- Free: up to 20 recipes, 5 AI recipe scans each calendar month and 3 active custom stickers;
- Family: up to 200 recipes, 40 AI recipe scans each calendar month and 30 active custom stickers;
- AI Boost: up to 400 recipes, 80 AI recipe scans each calendar month and 50 active custom stickers.
Monthly AI scan allowances reset at the start of each calendar month. Once you reach an allowance, Yeatee will prevent further use of the relevant feature or the addition of further content until the allowance resets or your available allowance increases. Reaching an allowance does not by itself delete content you have already saved. If a subscription ends or moves to a lower tier, existing content is not automatically deleted, but you must reduce your usage or subscribe to a suitable tier before adding more.
Usage allowances may change from time to time. Promotions and increased allowances are limited to the availability, duration and limits specified by us and, unless expressly stated otherwise, do not create any continuing or renewable entitlement. We may vary or withdraw a promotion or reduce an increased allowance, including by returning it to a previous level. If a change would materially reduce a paid service, we will provide reasonable advance notice and comply with applicable consumer law.
8. Service limits and feature rules
Yeatee is designed for personal meal planning. The following limits apply across all subscription tiers: an account may have up to 50 active or pending friend connections; each meal slot may contain up to 10 meal plans for the same date; and each meal plan may contain up to 30 recipes.
Some features are available only for a limited time or amount. An AI scan can return up to 8 dishes from a photo or a menu, and an unsaved result expires after 24 hours. A friend QR code expires after 30 minutes. Meal plan changes close at 12:00 local time for Breakfast and Brunch, at 18:00 for Lunch and Afternoon Snack, and at the end of the day for Dinner and Late Snack.
Meal History is enabled by default and keeps eligible history for up to 90 days. Turning it off is a deletion action, not a pause. Before the action takes effect, you must open the Danger Zone and complete two separate confirmations. After the final confirmation, history from earlier days is permanently deleted and new history stops being recorded. Meals recorded that day remain until the following day and are then removed. Deleted Meal History cannot be restored by turning the feature back on, by Yeatee or by its support team.
When a numerical limit is reached, Yeatee will prevent the creation or addition of further items beyond that limit. When a stated availability period ends, the expired result or QR code can no longer be used. To continue, you must remove existing items, submit a smaller scan, create a new scan or generate a new QR code, as applicable. These limits form part of Yeatee's intended operation. Reaching or applying a stated limit does not, by itself, indicate a fault in the service.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Yeatee or help another person to do so. In particular, you must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;
- interfere with the security, availability or normal operation of the service;
- use automated means to extract data or place unreasonable load on the service;
- upload malware or use Yeatee for fraud or unlawful activity; or
- circumvent feature limits, subscription checks or security controls.
To protect users and the service, we may apply reasonable request-frequency, upload-size and other technical limits, and may delay or reject activity that appears automated, abusive, unsafe or likely to disrupt the service. These operational protections may vary and do not increase the stated subscription allowances.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Yeatee reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the product develops. We may suspend a feature where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or protection against misuse.
If a material change adversely affects a paid service, we will provide notice where reasonably possible and respect any rights available to you under applicable consumer law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe this is necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law or address a serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may stop using Yeatee at any time. Sections that by their nature need to continue after termination, including ownership, responsibility for prior conduct and applicable liability provisions, will continue to apply.
12. Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, by your failure to follow reasonable instructions, or by inaccurate content or AI output that you did not review. Yeatee is provided for personal meal-planning use and is not intended for commercial, medical or safety-critical decision-making.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory rights or protections available under the law of the country where you normally live, and you may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Yeatee, law or our operations. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice before a material change takes effect. If you do not agree to updated terms, you should stop using Yeatee and may delete your account.
15. Contact
For questions about these terms, email contact@yeatee.com. For product help, email support@yeatee.com. Complaints may be sent to complaint@yeatee.com.
We aim to send an initial response within 72 hours after receiving your message. This is a response target, not a promise that every issue will be resolved within 72 hours. Some matters may take longer where we need more information, need to investigate a technical problem or need to verify an account.
If you registered with Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, the address you use to contact us may not match the private address Apple gave Yeatee. If we cannot locate your account from your message, we may ask you to provide your Yeatee profile name and a screenshot of your profile showing its current name and avatar, or the default profile image if you have not chosen an avatar. If we ask you to keep those details unchanged while the case is open, you must do so or tell us promptly if they change. These details help us find the likely account but do not replace any further verification reasonably needed for a sensitive request.
Do not send us your password, an Apple verification code or full payment-card details. Yeatee support will not ask you for them.
